I have no new paintings to post this morning. Caitlin and I spent the day yesterday cleaning and shopping for a new area rug and pillows for the living room. We decided that each room of the house will be devoted to one of our favorite travels spots. We already have a 'Wildwood' Room. My studio is a mix. The family room will be the 'Tropical' room...devoted to the caribbean and Florida beaches. So we found a great red shag rug...yes shag is in!!!! We added some southwest style pillows and some touches of purples and earthy reds. Now I just need to do a few more Southwest paintings for the walls. I also would love to get a navajo rug for the wall...watching some now on ebay!
