It's been awhile since I've shared a work in progress. I started this painting of Magen's Bay this afternoon. This is a small piece at 8x10. I first did a small value sketch about the size of a business card to work out the composition then I drew my main shapes on my paper. I am using white Wallis paper. I decided to do an alcohol wash this time so I lightly used nupastels to block in my major shapes and then painted over them with alcohol...this is the result. Stay tuned for the finished painting!
