'Sapphire Surf' 8x10 pastelSapphire beach is another very beautiful beach on the island of St. Thomas. I painted this last weekend while my friend Carol was visiting. We both worked from the same photo. Carol decided that she need to get some more turquoise pastels. Wouldn't a caribbean set of pastels be great!!!! I wasn't feeling well when I painted this one so it is quite loose....but I actually like it this way so I left it.
On another note....I have been very busy getting my new website off the ground. I now have the domain for my name so I started a new website. It is still under construction and I have more paintings to load...but please visit and see what you think so far.

Aloha. Your painting is quite wonderful. Take a look at Terry Ludwig's Helen Iaea Tropical Set. I think you will find some great colors for your tropical islands.
