'Quiet Marsh' 18 x 24 pastelIt's been awhile since I've has a chance to paint something large. This may look familiar if you read my blog and that's because it is based on a plein air painting I did on my trip to the South Carolina coast this past spring. It was interesting to have all this paper to paint on! I did an alcohol wash which I also haven't done in awhile. It's hard to get an idea of how this painting really appears on a little computer screen!
