It's a nice lazy Sunday and I had the chance to get out into the studio and paint with oils. This is a scene from the Bailey Tract of the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island. Last time I was there it didn't look quite so lush as they had just completed a controlled burn. I'll be sure to visit this quiet part of the island next time I am there.
