'A Passing Storm' 12x12 pastelI have given myself an assignment....to do four different paintings of this same stretch of beach at different times of day and weather conditions. This is my stormy day scene. It was actually the tail end of a tropical storm...naturally while we were on the island for vacation! (I always get all the crazy weather on a trip) This painting is a square format at 12x12 which was interesting to paint. It's fun to try different formats.
