We are having a virtual Studio Tour Day on the Daily Painter's website. I actually do have a nice large studio but since it isn't heated it tends to become a storage room in the colder months. I just run in and get what I need or put something away and run back out! So you can imagine it gets pretty unorganized until a warm day when I can go out and straighten it up! I find I do most of my painting in this little corner of my basement. I have an easel I keep set up but for smaller paintings I paint right at my desk. I know it looks totally unorganized but I do have a system and believe it or not I know where everything is! I definitely have a storage problem with my pastels but looking at the top photo I just had a brainstorm! I need my dad to make me another big box and I can stack them when I am not painting. I hope you enjoyed a look into my little painting corner!

Your studio spaces look so much more organized than ours. Tom and I spent some time yesterday combining several mixed boxes of pastels into the large Heilman box he got me for my birthday. After we were done, I found two sets of Unisons we had somehow buried. One was old and only had a few sticks left, but the other was new in September. We really do need to be better organized. Thanks for sharing your space wtih us.
I begin to see as I look at everyone studio's that these are the place where we work and as artist most of us could use more space. I dream of windows.Keep up the wonderful paintings.
It's amazing where we find our niche to paint and let the creative process flow! We all have dreams of what we'd like ideally, but we are all so preoccupied with our work, that even tidying up gets put on the back burner...and that's a good thing.
I too have a basement studio. AND long for windows but its better than no space at all!!! Thanks for showing yours
Your studio is great. Thanks for sharing.
