'The Afternoon Nap' 16x20 pastel

Here is the largest cat painting I have done so far. It is 16x20 so the cat is larger than life....see the post below.... I have two dog portraits to paint at 16x20 so I wanted to have a practice session with my own cat. I have painted birds this large but nothing furry. It's funny because I love to paint small but when I do paint something larger I really enjoy that just as much! This is one of those paintings that looks much better in real life.
