I took a break from landscapes today to paint one of my favorite subjects...cactus flowers. I love the splash of color they add to the desert palette. I haven't painted a yellow bloom yet so here it is! I am also working on a Cape Cod landscape and finishing up a North Georgia river scene. Look for them later this week!This painting is 5x7 on LaCarte paper.
