'Autumn Egret' 11x13 pastelIt was a chilly Fall morning and this beautiful egret was huddled among the grasses. I waited patiently for him to extend his long neck but he wouldn't indulge me! I did manage to get some shots of other egrets including a great one of an egret in flight which I will share in another post.

Once again your loose style, colors and textures make my eyes dance. Have you always painted in this loose style?
Thanks Karen! I would say I have always painted fairly loosely. For me it is a matter of making sure I leave some areas more finished!
