'A Cold, Clear Night' 5x7 pastelHere is a new nightscape painting. I put this in a simple black frame and it really brings out the blue in the sky. I love doing these night scenes and as soon as I get a chance I have some ideas I am itching to try!

Just to say that for a long time I had not the time to see much detailed the works and Blogs of the members of DP, I sttoped in your gallery and read your short statement: "I am a pastel artist capturing the quiet beauty that surrounds us", let me express my joy for your wonderful works and my deeply identification with your "presentation/statement" in DP, because for me the "beauty that sorrounds us" it's all what I personally need for my paintings.
