Flowering Tree Close-up

'Spring is in the Air' 9x12 pastel
I had fun with this one. I decided to do a close-up view of a flowering dogwood tree. I did a watercolor underpainting first on white pastelbord. My azaleas are in full bloom today so I am hoping to do some plein air painting this weekend in my own yard!
