Blue Cornflowers and Daisies Pastel Painting

'Moody Blues' 5x7 pastel
I like the way this moody sky works with the blue flowers. I think I need to get ready for some moody weather. I am watching the forecast for Santa Fe this week and they are calling for thunderstorms and showers. I like moody skies but I could do with out rain. I hope the forecast is wrong!

Karen, I was painting some flowers scattered across a field recently and I suddenly found myself visualizing how you do it! I wanted to put something tall in front but never pulled it off.

This one is a delight!!

Thank you Deborah! I love doing this kind of painting! We drove today on the Turquoise Trail and stopped a few times to get pictures of the wildflowers growing on the roadside.....we had the best time! Can't wait to meet you next week!
