Sometimes you find beauty where you least expect it. This scene is from the road to my parent's home in the North Carolina mountains. Last summer while visiting them, I went for an early morning walk. I never expected to come across this little patch of poppies on the side of a busy highway. Actually I had my dad throw wildflower seed all along their driveway so I am hopeful for even more wildflowers next summer!

Thank you Alisha. I appreciate you taking the time to visit and comment!
I love your work and I am getting many ideas from you regarding techniques and materials I haven't yet tried and trying them. Delighted with the results. Check out my blog site.
Hi Anita,
Nice to meet you! Thanks for writing. I am so glad you enjoy my blog and work. I had a visit to your blog and I just love you water lilies. I have a fascination with them. I hope to get back to my 100 variation challenge to finish...I'll have to try the olive oil!
Thanks again for writing.
Karen
