'Summer Haze' 5x5 pastelToday I tried experimenting with getting a different mood and sense of light in a wildflower painting by working in a Higher Key. I won't go into too much details because it is the topic of tomorrow's pastel master class! I usually have much darker darks in my wildflower fields so it was a challenge not to reach for them! I have done several other high key paintings this past week and I am really enjoying the change of pace.
