'Sunbathing' 16x20 pastelIt has been awhile since I've painted my Siamese cats but I couldn't resist this one of Maya. She was in a perfect sunspot grooming herself. She loves to make herself comfortable on all things soft such as this throw and velvet pillow. This is painted on LaCarte paper which is my favorite surface for painting animals. I did another smaller 5x7 painting of Tobi in a sunny window which I will be posting next. I also just finished another 18x24 paintingof a field of Queen Anne's Lace. I think I put in a full day today!
