'Snowy Egrets' 8x8 pastelI came across these Snowy Egrets at the Assateague Island National Seahore. I think that had to be one of the best bird-watching experiences ever. It was quite chilly and windy but the birds were everywhere! Often when we go looking for 'white' birds we are frustrated. We see more white plastic bags than egrets! We call them 'bag birds'. But on this trip, we hit the jackpot!
