Sunflowers on Red 8x10

'Sunflowers on Red' 8x10 pastel

A couple of weeks ago I went on a sunflower painting mission. I did about 10 sunflower paintings and this is one of them. This was done on Diane Townsend paper and I used Golden pastel medium to build up layers and give more texture. Sometimes I really like working on a very textured surface. You can't predict how things will turn out. I like that!
