'Step Beach Dunes' 8x10 pastel
I like to think I have Nantucket sand in between my toes. My roots go back to the founding families of Nantucket and I still have relatives that live there. I wish I could visit more often so I have to be content in painting from my photos and dreaming. This is a scene from Steps Beach on Nantucket. I had a wonderful vantage point overlooking the many pathways down to the sea.
