OK Here it is....this is the attempt I made at an oil painting several years ago. (read yesterday's post) It's all black, brown and white!!! What was I thinking! I really should redo this little scene in pastels! Here's the update. I tried the oil paints again last night and boy was it hard! I didn't finish because I was hot and the light was bad...so maybe it will be savagable! I was a good student and made my color charts first which took awhile. What I discovered.....I am being stingy with the paints. I envision it to be thick and colorful...but I only have out tiny blobs of paint (my tubes were expensive!) So later I will go in there and add some more paint and see what happens....
