This is the first plein air painting I did on vacation. It is the view from the beach at the Waterside Inn on Sanibel. There were buildings in the background which I decided not to put in. I have so many photos to go through from my trip it will be hard to decide what to paint first. I do know I want to do a large painting of a Snowy Egret...then there's a great shot of Caitlin doing the 'Sanibel Stoop' looking for shells...or the osprey eatng a fish in a tree.....oh decisions, decisions!
