Little Green Heron

There was a big crowd at the little pond so I knew it must be something special...and it was. It was a Little Green Heron which is a solitary and secretive heron. He watched us all for awhile as we talked about him and snapped photos...then he raised his crest and disappeared into the mangroves. What a fun moment that was!
