'Whispering Moss' 12x18 pastelOn a visit to Providence Canyon in South Georgia last spring we stayed near a lake. Late one afternoon, the light on the moss was just magical. Looking at this painting I can still hear the breeze whisper past the hanging moss.

I love the way you handled the swaying moss! It suggests coolness in the shade. Makes me remember days spent with my aunt and uncle at their fishing lodge near Deland, FL, in the mid 1950's. Thanks for the memories. :o)
