'Seagulls Overhead' 16x20 pastelSeagulls are not everyone's favorite bird but I happen to LOVE them. I love watching them interact with each other and the sound of a gull call means 'seashore' to me. I remember sitting on the beach the day I took the photo this painting is based on....I was eating so of course I had lots of nosy visitors! (and noisy!) I took out my little camera and took pictures of the gulls flying overhead. This may be one of those paintings that needs to be seen in real life....since the larger gull is about life-size.
