'Blue Heaven' 5x7 pastelI had fun painting this dragonfly. The little pieces of white are actually sparkles from pearlescent Great American pastels. I used a technique of removing pastel layers to create the lacy structure of the wings. I wonder what a large dragonfly would look like?
