Here is a request from one of my collectors. It's a tiny 3x3 pastel of a red rose bud. Roses have to be the hardest flowers for me to paint. I know whenever Marsha brings roses into class for us to paint we all groan! Give me a wildflower any day! I suppose it means I must paint more roses but a field of Queen Anne's Lace gets me more excited than a vase of roses. I am excited about a painting I will be working on....a field of lavender from my trip to the Pacific NW a few years ago. Stay tuned!
