'Oranges and Pear' 8x10 pastelIn class last night we studied Paul Cezanne. Jayne shared some great information and we all discussed what made a Cezanne a Cezanne. Then we set up some still life arrangements with the fruit and items Jayne brought it. This is my Cezanne inspired fruit. I love painting fruit this way. It is so much fun to put down those nice juicy strokes of color!

Thanks Abbe, we'll have to try it one day. It was so much fun! Next week we are doing Matisse.
