Sanibel Island Beach Scene

'Sanibel Island Beach Day'     12x36     pastel
This painting is much more striking in person than it is in this little photo. It is large for me and the panoramic format really works with the subject. This is a commission I did and I am waiting for the go ahead to ship it to my collector's new home. I can't wait for them to see it!
I just finished a wonderful 2 day workshop with Deborah Secor here in Albuquerque. It was great to finally meet her and what a treat to be in her workshop. It was everything and more than I had hoped for. Thanks Deborah!!! Sadly I am headed home tomorrow but with many photos, memories and new art knowledge to motivate and inspire me.

You create the most wonderful atmospheric pastel paintings. They are inspiration to all of us working artists!
