This is another painting from my photos from Assateague Island last fall. The marshes were so colorful but I loved the bright yellow of the Seaside Goldenrods. I'll be busy this weekend with my mini workshop on painting wildflowers in pastel. I have a full group and I am excited to be able to share some tips and techniques I use for my wildflower paintings. I will give a report on Monday!

These Marsh Studies are lovely...I cannot tell you how much they look like northern Germany near the North Sea.
