'Lowcountry Autumn' 8x10 pastelThis week I am working on some 'water' paintings. I want to try to paint different types of water in the landscape. This is my version of 'still water with reflections'. This is the view from the State Park cabin on Edisto Island. My Friends and I spent a few nights in the cabin last November. I love the colors in the marsh grass that time of year! I have also painted a waterfall which I will be posting next.
I have opened up a shop on etsy.com that will specialize in Nature themed art. It is called 'Songbird Studios'. Right now I have some birds ,nests and wildflower original paintings listed, many of them not available through my other online galleries. I have plans to add greeting cards and much more.
