A Collection of ACEO mini Original Pastels each 2.5x3.5 inches
I am glad that I decided to work on these mini paintings this week. I have come down with a cold and since I can sit and work on these it is perfect for my energy level. I had to cancel my demo day at High Country Gallery tomorrow but I would not be up to a full day of painting in the Gallery. I hope to reschedule in the next few weeks. I have to be well for next weekends workshop for the Appalachian Pastel Society so I am taking it easy this weekend. I really enjoy working on these little ones. It is fun to see how little information you need to say something in a painting. It is a great exercise!

Very pretty.
Hope you feel better very soon!
Beautiful work Karen! I love how you balance detail, not too much and not too little!
These are beautiful! Do you spray heavily with fixative?
Thanks everyone!
Kim, I don't use fixative at all so I advise buyers to carefully cut away the bag and frame under glass. I haven't had luck with fixative. I don't like how it darkens the colors. Let me know if you found a fixative that works and doesnt change the colors!
No, I've had no luck with fixative at all....I was just hoping maybe you had!!
