'Fairytale Meadows' 8x10 pastelI don't usually paint a field of clover without other wildflowers but these were just so wonderful I had to showcase them. I had fun with this using some pearlescent pastels which you can see the sparkle a bit in the photo. Tomorrow I am looking forward to a project experimenting with a bunch of sample grounds by Golden. I am always looking to see what other surfaces will do for my paintings. I think I will try a group of minis each with a different ground. Stay tuned!
