'Meadow Bouquet' 12x16 pastel
Today's painting is another one of the demos I did this past weekend at High Country Gallery. I have painted this meadow many times and I never tire of interpreting it. For this version I added a blue sky and emphasized the delicate laciness of the flowers. I worked today on my 24 x 24 daisy commissions. I do love painting big and my new Diane Townsends were perfect. I'll post photos tomorrow.

Karen, I LOVE this one! The colors are fantastic. I looked up Diane Townsend, and then looked at her pastels on Dick Blick. Have you used her metallics? How do they compare with pearlescents?
