It's great to be back in New Mexico! The convention is gearing up with workshops and artists arriving from all over the world! It is so much fun to be surrounded by so many talented artists. My seminar is on Friday and my demo is Saturday. I have some free time today so I decided to take a walk to Old a Town and paint.
Of course the hollyhocks called out to me! I had time for a quick study before heading back to the hotel. I am helping this afternoon at the registration desk. It will be a good way to meet a lot of artists as the check in.
Here's a photo from my morning walk. I love it here! I'm headed now to the opening reception of the Pastelworld exhibition. I'll take pictures and report back tomorrow.
