'Plum Trio' 5x7 pastelI am working on a large 'weed' painting but I couldn't resist the call of these three plums to be painted so.... I set them up on a stool next to my desk and painted them. I really enjoyed painting from life instead of a photo. I would like to try to make that a part of my painting routine.

This painting is plum perfect! I particularly like the blue tones dancing in and around the fruit.
