Here is painting #2 of my state wildflower series. This is the Indian Pond Lily the state wildflower of Alaska as used in the commemorative Stamp Series. If a state doesn't have an official wildflower than I will use the flower from the stamp series. I will also ask you for your votes for some of the states. This pond lily was painted from my photo. We found a pnd full of them this summer in Yellowstone. They are very striking! This painting is on LaCarte pastel card.
